Cumberland Trail New Segment

Lora and I checked out the progress being made on the new segment of trail off Leggett Road. It's a beautiful area and should be open soon. Lora saw a snake two different times and didn't scream!

Soddy Creek Gulf

Today we hiked the roadbed back to the bridge. From the bridge we hiked left and to the end where there is now a trail that connects to the Cumberland trail. We hiked to the cumberland trail and took it to the roadbed heading back to Soddy Creek. After the hike we walked back to the swimming area and spent the afternoon relaxing by the creek.

Valley Festival

Lora and I went to Valley Fest in Dunlap after church today to listen to music. Greg Marlow, Emma Grace, Zach Olendorf, Cody McCarver, Just Country, and The Creekers.

Cumberland Mountain SP

Today’s hike at Cumberland Mountain SP. We hiked the Lake trail, the Pioneer Short trail, and the Pioneer Loop trail.
