Bag Meals:
Oatmeal: In Quart size freezer bag put 4 oz. of Oats , Add one table spoon of brown sugar, Add dehydrated fruit. On trail add half a cup of boiling water, stir and let sit for a couple of minutes. Eat out of bag.
Biscuits and Gravy: In Quart size freezer bag put half a package of sausage gravy. On trail add a half a cup of boiling water, stir and let sit for a couple of minutes. Add broken up flat bread. Eat out of bag.
Meat and Potatoes: In Quart size freezer bag put half a package of instant potatoes. On trail add a half a cup of boiling water, stir and let sit for a couple of minutes. Add package of meat (Chicken, Salmon, Tuna). Eat out of bag.
Turkey and Stuffing: In Quart size freezer bag put a serving of stuffing and half a package of brown gravy. Put dehydrated turkey in Quart size freezer bag. On trail add a cup of boiling water to turkey and let sit for five minutes. Mix in stuffing and gravy, stir and let sit a couple of minutes. Eat out of bag.
Roman Noodles and Meat: In Quart size freezer bag crush up Roman noodles and season package. On trail add a half a cup of water, stir and let sit a couple of minutes. Add package of meat (Chicken, Salmon, Tuna). Eat out of bag.
Potatoes: In Quart size freezer bag put half a package of flavored instant potatoes. On trail add a half a cup of boiling water, stir and let sit for a minute. Eat out of bag.
Pinto Beans: In Quart size freezer bag put one serving of dehydrated pinto beans. Add red pepper, salt, and black pepper. On trail add a half a cup of boiling water, stir and let sit for a couple of minutes. Eat out of bag.
Eggs and Gravy: In Quart size freezer bag put Freeze Dried Eggs. On trail add a half a cup of boiling water, let set for a few minutes. Add sausage flavored breakfast gravy mix and eat out of bag.
Freezed Dried Meals:
Mountain House is our number one favorite. Pork seems to be a down fall in all of the meals we have tried.
