I met the Plateau Chapter at Frozen Head SP Visitor Center to hike on this beautiful drizzly morning. Mark led the 8 hikers for 8 miles. Spicewood and South Old Mac Trails. The plan was to hike to the tower, but as we climbed higher and higher, the fog got thicker, and the raindrops got bigger. No one wanted to see the view from the tower today, if there was a view.... I did see two Hepatica blooms on the way up the trail. They will be shivering come the weekend. Hikers: Mark, Deb, John, Curt, Dean, Susan, Sheila, and me.
