Dave led a great hike for Scenic City at the Rocky Face Ridge Park near Dalton Georgia. 13 hikers started the climb with lots of switchbacks, thankfully. Lots of straight up trails criscrossed our trail. The view at the top was awesome. This was a two option hike, up to the top and back down, or continue on to add 5 more miles. Will, Betsy and I did option 2, following the ridge top on another loop back to the parking lot. At the top, a guy from the Parks and Recreation Dept was weed whacking. He pointed out views of Fort Mountain, and surrounding areas.
